Minor in Philosophy

Welcome to the home page for Philosophy at UL Lafayette!

We offer a wide variety of philosophy courses that will complement your major, including courses in the history of philosophy, ethics, philosophy of religion, philosophy of mind, critical thinking, philosophy of science and other areas as well.

We also have a very active Philosophy Club whose meetings are free and open to the university community.

The History, Philosophy & Geography Department is located on the fifth floor of Griffin Hall, at the corner of Rex and East Lewis Streets. Our office is on the fifth floor in room 554.
